Understand the new pricing model.

We have listed a few commonly asked questions on our new pricing model released on Monday 31st July 2023.

Why are you now charging to use Blippbuilder?

We have made this change to ensure our users have as much flexibility as possible when it comes to creating and publishing their AR projects.

What happens to my existing projects?

From Monday 31st July all projects published with Blippbuilder will be unpublished automatically. Your projects will still be available from your dashboard and you will continue to benefit from FREE Blippbuilder access to create and test projects but you will need to upgrade to a paid plan if you wish to publish them.

What happens to any projects that I have published and made available to everyone?

These projects will be unpublished on 31st July 2023. You will need to access your account and then choose a plan based on what features you need and how many projects you wish to republish. For example, if you wanted to re-publish just one project, you would select the ‘Creative’ plan. If you wanted to republish more than one of your projects, you would need to select the ‘Pro’ plan as this plan allows up to five projects to be published. If you want to publish more than five projects, please speak with us to discuss a custom ‘Enterprise’ plan.

I am an educator and have many projects that are currently live. What will happen to these and what should I do?

All published projects will be unpublished on the 31st July 2023. To ensure your projects remain 'published' and available to others, please contact us to set up your ‘Education’ plan that best suits your needs.

I don’t see a plan that fits with my business requirements, do you offer custom plans?

Yes absolutely, we understand every business is different and we’d love to hear how we can support you. Please contact us to discuss this.

Will you still offer pay per project ($6.99 and $9.99) plan?

The pay per project plans will be replaced with free and paid monthly plans. The new plans enable you to create and test for free with the option to upgrade to publish your AR projects and share with the world.

Can I still use Blippbuilder for free?

Yes absolutely, our ‘Starter’ plan allows you to to create & test an unlimited number of projects

I don’t want to subscribe to a monthly plan. Can I still pay a one off fee for a project to be published?

Unfortunately not, but you can create an unlimited number of projects and test for free with our ‘Starter’ plan. If you wish to publish, you will need to upgrade to a ‘Creative’ or ‘Pro’ plan.

I am on a monthly Blippbuilder plan with the ability to create and publish unlimited projects. Can I still publish an unlimited number of projects?

With our new Pro plan you will be able to create an unlimited number of projects and publish up to five projects hosted by Blippar. If you would like to publish more than five projects, you might want to consider a custom ‘Enterprise’ plan. Please contact us to discuss.

What will happen to my projects created in Blippbuilder while It was free?

On 31st July all published will be unpublished, to republish upgrade to a ‘Creative’ or ‘Pro’ plan.

What will happen to my accounts created in BB, while It was free?

Your Blippar account will remain active enabling you to create and test an unlimited number of projects.

I have multiple projects created in Blippbuilder, how can I get a discount on the new pricing?

No discounts are available currently. However, If you would like to discuss a custom plan please contact us.

Why is the watermark still coming, when I am paying £7.99?

A - The ‘Creative’ plan is for entry level projects. If you wish to remove the watermark upgrade to a ‘Creative Plus’ Plan.

What are the optional ‘customisable domains’?

Custom domains unlock full project customisation enabling you to publish your Blippbuilder project using a domain address of your choosing. If you would like to discuss a custom domain for your project please contact us.

How much do custom domains cost

Custom domains requirement setup by the Blippar team and cost £499 for 12 months.

What is a ‘customisable loading screen’?

Adding a custom loading screen enables you to customize the look and feel of your Blippbuilder projects. With all webAR projects created within Blippbuilder, your project will need to load within the web browser before it can be presented to your users. With custom loaders you can adjust the look and feel of this loading screen e.g adapting your loading screen to use a brand logo and specific colors.

What is the difference between ‘campaign data’ analytics and ‘views only’ data

‘Campaign data’ analytics enables you to track views, interactions, user location and session length providing you with a deeper understanding of how engaging your AR projects are. ‘Views only’ provides you with a single metric stating how many users have viewed your AR project.

What is the difference between ‘Online support’ and ‘1 Hour of technical support’?

Online support gives everyone access to tutorial documentation and video guides to follow to help you get the most from the Blippar platform. With 1 hour technical support, our team will provide you with priority support and dedicated time to help you resolve issues.

We have less than 100 students who will be using Blippbuilder. Can Blippar support us?

Can I upgrade to a ‘PRO’ plan from ‘Creative’ anytime?

Yes of course, you can upgrade to a ‘Pro’ plan at any time. Or, based on your needs, you can upgrade to a customisable ‘Enterprise’ plan.
