No. You need to have a work/school Microsoft Teams account to use the Blippbuilder app. If you are using a personal Microsoft Teams account, sign up with Blippar and create your account.
Yes. You can login to your teams account using Microsoft Teams Desktop App or through the browser. Click the ‘Apps’ icon from the left panel, search for Blippbuilder and click ‘Add App.’ You can alternatively click on the three dots from the left panel and add Blippbuilder App. Once the Blippbuilder app is added, you can start creating your AR experiences using Blippbuilder.

Contact your company’s admin to provide permissions to add third party applications. Follow the steps below:
Select the Teams apps dropdown followed by Permission policies.
Click on Global (Org-wide default)
Under Third-party apps, ensure that Allow all apps is selected. Or, choose Allow specific apps and block others and search for Blippbuilder to add it to the list of approved apps.
Now login to your Microsoft Teams account and ‘Add' Blippbuilder App from the ‘Apps’ section.

You can login to Microsoft Teams and access Blippbuilder in the following ways:
Microsoft Teams desktop application
Microsoft Teams browser (web version): Safari, Chrome etc.
Microsoft Teams mobile app: only to view creations. Not supported for creating/sharing projects
No, it will not back up the data uploaded on Blippbuilder. However, Blippbuilder supports version history and all your creations are automatically backed up on the cloud in BB
Yes. You need to have a Developer Microsoft 365 subscription with admin privileges in case you are using your personal account to access Microsoft Teams. However, if you are using a company provided Microsoft account (school/work) where the admin has blocked the privilege to add any third party applications, then you will need your company’s Microsoft Team administrator to allow access to third party apps. Contact your administrator and follow the steps below:

Yes. When you login to Microsoft Teams, you will be able to see your creations under ‘My Projects’ in the Blippar HUB within Microsoft Teams.
You can share test creations before publishing to get feedback from your teammates by following these steps:
Login to Microsoft Teams and launch Blippbuilder app
Create a AR project
Click on preview icon from the top panel
Go to your teams channel and the creation is displayed with the QR code and a URL
Post a comment in the chat section asking for feedback.
Follow the same steps when you publish an AR project.
A. You need to request your company’s administrator to allow you to share your creations with your teammates. This specific permission can be blocked for certain users and it can be activated by the administrator.
Yes. Open your team channel. Click on ‘ New’ and add Blippbuilder. The HUB will open within the team channel. You can alternatively, search the app using the search tab and open BB Hub
No, you can create and publish your AR projects without any payment during the beta period. This is free of cost.
You can create unlimited number of AR projects and publish them for free.
No. Any creations can be shared/edited only in the desktop app or through the browser on the PC. It is not supported on Teams mobile app.
A sample project will be available within the Blippbuilder HUB under ‘Projects’ section. Access this project to get an insight into Blippbuilder. This project provides a guided tour which will help you in creating your own AR experience using Blippbuilder.

Click on the ’Teams’ icon to get a green tick confirming the Blipp has been shared with your teammates on the team channel. You can also select a specific channel from the drop down menu where you want to share the project.
The Hub is the dashboard where you can start creating your AR projects. To access the design canvas where you can start creating your projects, Click on and you will be redirected to the design canvas where you can get started with creating your project. You can also see a list of all your projects in the HUB: both test as well as live.
Navigate to The HUB and find your test projects under the ‘Projects’ section. Click on the three dots and choose the option ‘Publish to Live’ Click on the Teams icon to share your published project with your teammates and get their feedback or comments.
